Shirgan Tungu Trek

The participants arrive at our Base Camp at Bahnu (3km from Manali). In the evening, the participants will go through a briefing about trek. Overnight stay at base camp.

GO HIGHER SLEEP LOWER in the mountaineering terms is the best way to acclimatize our body. Trek starts from the Bahnu(base camp), via Jagatsukh village and over the Dhuhagan River to the other side of the valley. Today’s trek starts with a gradual climb followed by a gradual increase in gradient. The campsite is very scenic and one could enjoy the real Himalayan beauty. Overnight stay at Negidugh.

Today’s trek is a test of one’s stamina. Some portions of the climb are to be tackled in a horizontal way till the steep ridge of Kurrdi. It’s an awesome route, with the lush green beauty’s of nature. Overnight stay at Kurrdi.

The trek starts with a steep section followed by moderate climbs through the forested ridge to the campsite. In the evening indulge in some team building games, adventure activities and overnight stay at Dharanoo Dugh.

The trail proceeds on the long snowy slanted ridge and slowly begins to ascend towards Shirgan-Tungu Base (3800 Mtr). The campsite at Dharanoo Dugh is in the open and offers magnificent view of the distant Mountain of Dhauladhar range. It’s a beautiful trek along with it’s stunning greenery and snow. Overnight stay at Dharanoo Dugh.

Today’s trail descends same way down in a zigzag way through Kurrdi and then finally to Banad camp. It’s a complete strenuous steep descending. Overnight stay at banaad.

The trek encompasses a 1 hour steep descent initially and then in a zigzag way till the river basin. The trail finally to the road head concludes the trek and from there we have to move on via road to the base camp. In the evening there is a dj night and bonfire at the base camp.

After having breakfast we have a short session about trek (Closing ceremony). After that participants are free to visit the Manali market and departure in evening.
